For Eternity

Love; beautifully woven
Wonderfully crafted
Carefully nurtured
Blessed of God

Years; touchstone moments
Periods of elation
Times of restoration
Memoirs written black on white

Reminiscence; what was
Minds bonding, bodies melding
Senses heightened, love kindled
Alone, I sense him still

Rejuvenation; beyond the vale
My lover beckons
Outstretched arms embrace
Together for eternity
